Javascript And HTML Architecture Question

@markblake 3 months ago

Hi, guys.

I am very new to web development. I have started to learn javascript/jquery/html. I am wondering if it is architecturally normal to build a simple CRUD web page using just HTML5, CSS and Java Script. I want users to be able to edit data in a grid. I was wondering if having connection string in Javascript files was a security no no... Or is what I am proposing to do an okay way? Will I be able to hide the javascript from the users of the webpage if I place it in separate .js files? Any advise appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello. If i right understand you. You can use json web token (JWT) to protect your endpoint. And even user knows url to endpoint and makes request to it without authorization, server decline his request.
